Hyaluronic acid - the hydration miracle

Hyaluronic acid - the hydration miracle

Hyaluronic Acid is represented in all tissues, especially in skin and cartilage. First discovered by Karl Meyer 1934, it came into public attention only years later atfer a journalist visited japanese village Yuzuri Hara. He wanted to find out why men and women of this village in their eighties and nineties had smooth skin, almost without wrinkles, flexible joints and lush hair. The secret was found in molecules similar to estrogen, present in the main constituents of their diet - the soybean and the tofu - that signals the cells to produce more hyaluronic acid.

The role of hyaluronic acid is the maintenance of elasticity and firmness of the skin. Over time, as the result of aging, smoking and poor nutrition, the level of hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, which is why the skin looses moisture, firmness, volume and elasticity. As the result wrinkles and unfirm skin around the eyes and lips occur.

Because of their high molecular weight, the hyaluronic acid molecules cannot penetrate into deeper layers of the skin which is why, with special technological process, the molecules are broken down into smaller fragments and thus ensure their penetration into the dermis. In the dermis they stimulate the creation of its own hyaluronic acids, attract water from the tissue, strongly hydrate and firm the skin while reducing wrinkles. Cosmetic products with hyaluronic acid rejuvenate the skin, straight out wrinkles have the effect of a filler.

High quality Hyaluronic acid is one of the key ingredients of Alavi Flora Majestica night cream, anti age cream, Alavi Flora Divina Recovery cream and hydrating cream. Along with a rich selection of organic ingredients such as apple stem  cells, cotton thistle extract, tamanu oil, baobab and kukui oil helps a natural regenerative process for fresher, smoother and visibly more elastic skin.
