Oh that wonderful Kvarner! I love the carnival .. and not any .. I love the Carnival of Rijeka and I can not wait for the big parade day. This beautiful tradition has been going on for many years and almost everyone was at least once in Rijeka during the carnival.

Various masks, makeup, wigs, combination... it's really a wonderful experience. To tell the truth, there must be a lot of makeup and usually some artificial colors are being used under which the skin cannot breath. It is very important to have a good foundation for makeup, but also a good makeup remover. For the occasion I bought Alavi makeup removal oil that is organic and has such a wonderful smell I'd like to use it as a face cream every day :)

Like in previous years, the friends with whom I studied, organize a group mask this year and we Moon warriors. Yeah, Moon Warriors. I'm not sure how they came up with that idea, but I think it will be very interesting. On the day of the carnival, all day passes in the procession by the promenade and the beach. People dance, sing, and the music is versatile so you can choose what you want to listen. This is really a once in a year opportunity to really relax, get the negative out of your system, put a mask on and enjoy yourself as a child. In my home town carnival is not something traditional, but is held only for small children and can not be compared with the Rijeka carnival.

 My wish is to one day go to the carnival in Venice, I think that is really an experience. I'll squeeze that in the plan for next year.
