Almighty Amarant
Amaranth oil is obtained by cold pressing of the seeds of the amaranth plant. It stems from the Amaranthaceae family (Amaranthus caudatus) and thrives on all continents except Antartica.
This plant of rich history has been used by the Aztecs 8000 years ago because of its extraordinaty nutritive value. It has also been used by the old Greeks who beliveded that this plant never withers, and gives inexhaustible strenght and fertility. Today, it has a wide array of applications most of which are in the food and cosmetics industry.
The amaranth oil has exceptional nutritional value. For example, the amaranth oil is full of unsaturated fatty acids, most of all linoleic and oleic. This oil is also very rich in squalene that protect our skin from dehydratation and loss of important essential fatty acids. Amaranth oil contains large portion of palmitic acid that also protects our skin. Facial peeling with amaranth seeds
- 2 -3 spoons of amaranth seed (cut up in blender)
- 1 spoon of organic honey
- 1 spoon of organic almond oil
- 1 spoon of yoghurt
- couple of drops of lavander and geranium essential oil (optional)

In this mixture add a spoon of organic almond oil, yoghurt and couple of drops of lavander and geranium essential oil. Stir all together. Apply the peeling massaging the skin of the face and neckline gently with circular movements for about 30 seconds.

Rinse the peeling with warm water and towel dry your face. Apply the Alavi Night cream that contains the wonderful Amaranth oil. Voila! Your skin is perfect;)
